I drank petrol by mistake

I swallowed petrol by mistake while siphoning... And a coughing was induced...after 3 hours now i feel a bit dizzy, with some small cramps which stopped, but petrol burps are there. Is it normal? If serious, after how many hours symptoms start to show up? Should i be worried of methanol poisoning?
