Hi am 43 year old female, I had sever urinary tract infection for which I had completed all my course of treatment. However the symptoms of painful urination and also scanty flow still persists. Doctors say that one of the cause may be urethral Stricture however I have read that it is very rare in females. kindly let me know can it develop in females? if yes what can be the treatment?

well stricture is rare might have a bladder outlet obstruction for which more tests are required  eg urethral narrowing
