Hi my son is 1.3 yrs old. Every 15 days he has a complain of loose stool. What are the reasons of loose stools in infants. Is this a very serious symptoms, do you suggest we should get some checking done for this problem? Also kindly suggest some treatment for the same

It depends somewhat on diet,Babies who are breastfed generally have more and thinner stools than babies who are formula fed. But five to six stools per day is pretty normal. kinldy consult a pediatrician, do a stool examination
