6 yrs ago I fell on stairs, the chappal slipped and I fell hard on the edge of the stair. The right side of the hip was hurt so hard that even after the basic hot and cold bag though the pain subsided leaving behind a permanent disfigurement. Now the the hip has a bulge on it's upper side. The other side of the hip is fine. It seems like the ligament/muscles are being compressed forever at particular area making a boundary in between the whole surface and hence the upside is bulged. It is visible. How one treats this condition? Whom to consult? A surgeon?
