My wife aged 25 has been getting hives in the early morning for the past two days. May not be due to food because we didn't have anything new. But she is having medicines/syrup for dry cough for the past two days.Would that be the reason ? How to get rid of this ? Please suggest

Could be because of the medications she’s on. Considering that symptoms coincide with the timing of initiating the syrup. She could be allergic to any external agents as well. New perfume, soap etc
