Hello good afternoon first of all congratulations to u .your motherhood journey will be full of joy excitement but at the same time it will be tiring and exhausting with lot of worries ! You may feel like you are on roller coaster but once you will understand ur baby’s need , normal pattern of babies everything will be fine . Getting hiccough is normal and natural in newborn . It’s mostly due to excessive air swallow during breastfeeding , crying . So first of all make sure you are breastfeeding with good latch and also try to recognise hunger cues of baby . Burp your baby after each and every feed . If this is not helping then try to burp after 5-10 min of breastfeeding . Usually no any medication required if you follow these precautions . For more guidance consult Pediatrician thank you take care
