Gud mrng ! In my sisters 5th month scan report baby s growth in nerves system was in good shape so they told us to abort the baby. I have to know that  is it possible that the improper growth was due to traveling several kilometer in bike cause it.

The congenital abnormality detected in 5th month ultrasound is genetic and nothing related to her traveling..she needs to proper evaluation before next pregnancy. Would like to know if the fetus was sent for karyotyping after abortion? Share the details of ultrasound. Connect

The report needs to be seen before further comment. However traveling by bike doesn't cause growth delay.

Please seek a proper consultation with a Gynaecologist on Practo. You should  read your description before you post it. Your write up is unsatisfactory.

No Travelling several kilometres on bike will not lead to improper growth of the baby The most common reason for congenital malformations is not taking folic acid supplements regularly

Will need to analyse the scan report to give the correct explanation. However, with regard to growth restriction or birth defects, there is no known relation between them and travelling for long distances on a bike.
