My mother ia having gastic problem from last 12 years. Yesterday we underwent an ultrasound where she was diagnosed with a 2.1 cms stone in gall bladder. She was having light pain in abdominal both sides from last 10 days. Doctors has suggested to under went operation and remove gall bladder. We are confused because some friends and relatives are saying that since she is not having pain due to gall bladder stone and the pain is because of gas, you can avoid getting operated and wait for the final call when the pain is severe. Kindly suggest what are its side effects and should we under go operation. Thanks Nirav Doshi
