Asthma cough from one nd half month using montelucast 4 mg tab. But not reduced, how to prevent, nd tell me which type of food given Thank you

Hi, Welcome to Practo, Cough variant asthma seems less likely to respond with plain montelukast. You wld require to give the child inhaled steroid. Any food which has increased child's cough not to be given. Avoid artificial sweeteners colour and preservatives
