Last day at work a hammer shrapnel get inside my thighs I've took an X-ray., shpnel still inside its very small its about 1.2 Mm long .2mm thick it's about 2cm deep inside me do I need a surgery or how can I take it out or is there any problem if it stays in that way

SO SURGEON UNDER LOCAL ANESTHESIA GIVES A  SMALL NICK  AND REMOVED IT.PUT STITCH. THAN TAKE MEDICINE.,ON EIGHTH DAY GO FOR STICH REMOVAL. O.K BYE.
