Fever 1 yr. Baby.
My baby is having fever since last 2 days for 101 ..it earlier responded finely to medomol..but since yesterday night fever was 102 plus and did not come down with medomol..we then gave maftal p after discussing with his doc ..fever is down now but I am worried why the fever stopped responding to paracetamol. He does not have any other symptoms except fever and crankiness
I suggest you to go to a Pediatrician and get the baby completely evaluated, which should include a urine routine and culture as urinary infection in babies usually doesn't have any symptoms other then fever. Meftal- P is not a good drug it should be given only in emergency once the fever comes down with meftal then resume to paracetamol.
