I recently just rubbed my ear becasue it felt itchy, afterwards I had some hearing impairment or what seemed like to be a earwax blockage. My ear wax is already somewhat soft and is like gel, would earwax softer work or what is the best way to treat this.

Hello very low since this problem is there from quite some time I would suggest you to avoid any sort of self medication including the ear wax softening drops I would suggest you to meet an ENT specialist and get it examined and get the impacted wax is removed thank you
