Considering the symptoms you described and the picture you attached, the reason for this might be a fungal infection.it could be caused by wearing tight inner ware, wet clothes or excessive sweating for long hours, black colour will go away with treatment,so there is no need to worry,
Next Steps
maintain the groin area dry, use comfortable clothes, have regular baths, apply antifungal creams after bath, don't use steroid creams or oils .
Health Tips
use clean innerware.

From your description and the photo, the most likely cause is a fungal infection of the groin. The itching, scaling, and darkening of the skin are typical features. Irregular or incomplete use of antifungal creams often causes the infection to persist.
Next Steps
Please avoid using any steroid-containing creams, as they can worsen the condition. Keep the area clean, dry, and avoid tight clothing. Apply an antifungal cream regularly as prescribed, usually for at least 2–4 weeks. The dark color is common after fungal infections and usually lightens slowly once the infection is fully treated.
Health Tips
It is not dangerous, but untreated fungal infections can spread or become recurrent.
