I have depression symptoms like loss of memory and no pleasure and low sex drive  but I was given Fluoxetine with methmild and amipride. Can anyone tell me why methmild was given(does it help in depression too) amipride is used in schizophrenia then why it was prescribed? Does this combination help in depression?? If anyone can tell me some other combination then I will be very helpful. Plz help me

U need not take dis cocktail medicine. For ur current symptoms fluoxetine alone is sufficient. U may consult another psychiatrist for 2nd opinion and follow up.
