Cotton got stuck on my 8yr old child's wound on the knee as she fell on rough surface while skipping. By mistake cotton was applied over it after ointment and savlon. 2 days have passed and the cotton or not coming out and the size area is tender and swollen. She is in pain and is scared so is not letting anyone touch the cotton. Have tried hot water n all sorts of ointments. Any suggestions?

Apply ghee 1 part and honey half part mixture over the swelling.. cotton separate from tissue and meanwhile this combo cleans the wound so that wound heals up soon.
