My father is 50 years old and he just found out that a blood clot ( thrombus) t has been formed in hi leg in popliteal vein, which is very painfull.

Hello...... Doctor  give medicine  for clot,  and till clot resolve it should  be disturbed as there is chance  of thromboembolism,  this condition  is called deep vein  thrombosis...  Take him to general surgeon in nearest hospital .compression stockings and clot removal filter are advised..
