"Normocytic Normochromic" describes the physical appearance of red blood cells (RBCs) under a microscope.
Normocytic: The red blood cells are normal in size.
Normochromic: The red blood cells have a normal concentration of hemoglobin and standard color.
If Hemoglobin / RBC Count is Normal: This is a completely normal, healthy finding.
If Hemoglobin / RBC Count is Low (Normocytic Normochromic Anemia):
It means you have fewer red blood cells than normal, but the cells that are present are structurally normal. In such a case please consult a physician ( Internal Medicine Consultant).
