Blood in phlegm
I have cold and cough from last 3 days and some fever as well, i am coughing a lot so have taken the medicine but I see the first phlegm that i spit in the morning has blood in it but later it is not there, what should I do

This can occur when frequent coughing causes minor trauma to the small blood vessels in the throat or airways, especially if the phlegm is thick or if the cough is forceful. The fact that blood is present only in the first phlegm and not throughout the day is somewhat reassuring and suggests a localized irritation rather than a serious underlying disease.
Next Steps
Since you have already started medication and the bleeding is minimal and not ongoing, you can continue supportive care for another 1–2 days. However, if symptoms do not improve or the blood in sputum continues, it is advised to consult an ENT specialist or a chest physician (pulmonologist) for a proper physical examination and possibly a chest X-ray to rule out infections like bronchitis, pneumonia, or rarely tuberculosis (if risk factors are present).
