Prolonged sitting causes a lot of harm which is realised only after sometime.
You need to have a good sitting posture as well as taking regular breaks every 20 minutes to stretch and move about. Also good posture needs to be maintained while walking as well. You also need to do regular exercises to help strengthen your back. The best exercises are yoga, Pilates and core strengthening exercises. These Ned to be done correctly and with guidance. You also need to do these for a long time and the Muscles take a long time to build up their strength. Consistent work for 4-6 months is needed to strengthen your back adequately.
