I am mother of 2 months old baby. I have fissure since 6 months. Though I use duphalac 15 ml daily since 6 months fissure is not completely cured. Once in a while it repeats and then I used to take 30 ml duphalac that day and bleeding used to stop. But from past 2 weeks continuous bleeding and pain though I take 30 ml and make dietary changes. Can I increase dosage to 40 ml? Please suggest

Duphalac causes osmotic diarrhoea. It is generally used in hepatic encephalopathy. It can also be used in constipation. For anal fissure follow these: 1.Dietary Changes: Increase fiber intake through fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to soften stools. Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. 2.Stool Softeners: Over-the-counter stool softeners can help make bowel movements less painful. 3.Warm Sitz Baths: Soaking the anal area in warm water for 10-15 minutes several times a day can promote healing and reduce pain For detailed discussion connect via practo video consult.
