Itrasys 500mg is a capsule which is made up of gelatin generally which we don't consume...can anyone tell if it's a vegetarian capsule??...or else suggest an alternative tablet for itrasys 500mg...Or is it okay to empty capsule and consume only the contents of capsule...and not along with the capsule...will it be okay??...NEED HELP URGENTLY...TIA :)

I can understand your concern.
You can ask the pharmacist for a alternative if he has.
I think itrasys contains itraconazole.
So there are many alternatives available.but most are in capsule form itself.
Its not recommended that you empty the capsule shell.
Because the capsule is there for a reason.
You can ask your doctor to write a alternative antifungal.
