Greetings ! The term acidity refer to both gastritis or regurgitation If gastritis (stomach pain) is the predominant symptom, it can mimic a chest pain. Pain itself when it is severe can produce palpitations. If regurgitation (heartburn) is the predominant symptom, it produces constant discomfort and sleep disturbances. The root cause could be a stressful lifestyle which can cause anxiety, gastritis, regurgitation and palpitations. Since ECG and echo are normal, it’s unlikely to be a cardiac cause. As of now treatment is oral Pantoprazole and a healthy lifestyle adaptation. Thank you!
