I would like to know whether "Librax" is a sleeping pill to treat one's sleeplessness. A patient reported that her Dr. prescribed Librax as a sleeping pill.

Hello there. Librax is a combination of two drugs one if which is of a class called benzodiazepine. Benzodiazepines are used to ease anxiety and many other things. Sedation is one of the property of it. Librax would have been prescribed for stomach related issues. Regards
