Allergic BP Aspergilloius
I am an asthmatic patient for the past 40 years and had been on homeopathic/ayurvedic medicines. in Dec., 15, I have been diagnosed ABPA and taking voriconazone 200 mg - bd since 1st March, 16. However, fever is not settling (99 degree). Last year, took itraconazole 200 mg bd for six months ending Oct., 15. Please let me know for how long should take voriconazole and when shall the fever settle down. In addition, I am taking nebulizer (duolin 2.5 mg - bd), roflair 500 mmg - hs, montair 10 mg - hs, musinac 600 mg - bd and tiova inhaler - od. please let me know whether any thing else is needed for faster relief from fever.

Hi. I understand your concerns. You need to undergo a detailed examination and evaluation. Your treatment is ok but needs additional treatments which can be done after assessment. You are suffering from asthma with ABBA. treatment of which is mainly oral corticosteroids. But you have not mentioned about that. Consult a chest specialist immediately to get relief.
