I have been on citalopram for a month now, but am planning on going to Canada to drink for my 19th birthday. How much alcohol is safe to consume while on this medication?

Hi, Alcohol can reduce the effects of Citalopram It is difficult to say how much is safe... As such alcohol is not safe. But I do not recommend you not to enjoy as you have planned it. So, I suggest you to drink as little as possible Happy birthday in advance. Enjoy and be safe. Regards
