Advice on knee pain
Hi, my mother is 60 years old and suffering from knee pain for few years now. On doctors advice she got xray done for both knees. The report says degenerative changes are noted in the form of defuse osteopenia, condylar and trochlear osteophytes, tibial spiking and patellar spurring and reduced bilateral patellofemoral and left sided medial compartment tibiofemoral joint spaces. small suprapatellar loose bodies are noted on the right side with small anterior intraarticular loose bodies on left side. intra articular gas is noted along the medial compartment on the left side. no focal lytic or sclerotic lesion seen. No bony injury is seen. No soft tissue abnormality seen. Please advise how badly the knees are damaged and what options of treatment are available. Thanks
