Advice on ear infection during pregnancy
Hi Doctor, I am 29 year old pregnant with 28 weeks. For the past 3 days I am having sinus pain on my left cheek area and inner ear. Please advise on this as I am scared if it will turn to ear infection. Thanks in advance Radhika K

Pregnancy induces lots of changes in the body due to harmonal changes that take place in the body. Nasal congestion and heaviness in head are some of the manisfestatioms. Don’t worry and don’t go for medications. Try steam and local measures like applying some heat to sinus areas. At the most for pain you should only take Paracetamol 500mg stat.
