Adrenaline rushes keep me from sleeping
For the last month, I have been unable to sleep. As soon as I begin to drift off I experience a rush of adrenaline that wakes me back up. This happens multiple times per night and often prevents sleep altogether. The strange thing is that I feel both tired and wired all the time. Sleeping pills are largely ineffectual. The only thing that allows me to sleep is alcohol which is hardly a long term solution.
