Asked for Female, 26 Years

A friend of mine is a recovering herion addict, she was clean for 3 weeks and relapsed last night (she snorted a bag of herion) she's prescribed suboxone. How long does she have to wait until she can take her suboxone so she's not withdrawaling.

Hi there She need stop heroin and start with suboxone 8 mg daily which she should gradually taper down and completely stop over 10 to 14 days . Once that's done she can decide to seek support group, psychotherapist's or NA help. Ideally advised to check in a deaddiction facility under supervision for effective outcome. Hope this helps her.

Health Tips

Use a lot of water during this period and take adequate rest. In case having any other medical condition then strictly advised to follow the deaddiction under medical supervision
