Acute bleeding after sex
Me and my partner had sex for the first time but after coitus I started bleeding which didn't stopped even after 24hrs is it normal??And genetial part is paining alot??what is the problem please help me??Please do tell me what is the problem??Is it normal or i need to consult with doctor??

Thank you for your question. The bleeding is most often due to an injury or tear at the entrance of the vagina. It may take up to 7 days to settle. You need not use any medication if it is getting better day by day. However, if you are very worried and the pain is unbearable please see a gynaecologist who can help you. For next time you might want to consider using a water based lubricant that you can buy at the chemist or online. This will help make things more slippery and prevent tearing due to dryness.
