I have acne or pimples on my face esp. on cheeks n chin n acne marks n redness on the same. My skin is very sensative n I don't use makeup neither any threading etc. don evn use any kinda cream. I hd been 5 months dat am facing dis problem. Hv gone fr homeopathic treatment n used INDO GERMAN'S ADAM&EVE DROPS n cream of d same, since ws nt effective so ws den prescribed MEDISYNTH'S AQUIRE FOLIUM DROPS(for acne n pimples) n cream of d same and hv even started taking THUJA drops n SBL'S THUJA cream. I do excercise regularly lost 10kgs n BMI is 23.7 n I don eat anythn oily n junk food n I drink a lot of liquid. So please can u suggest me something else for these acne,pimples, redness n acne marks cz nothing is working out for me. My skin type is combination ie. T.

Acne is a common problem comming up due 2 stress, oily skin, polution,underlying causes like pcod , hormonal imbalance, irregular periods, thyriod imbalance..... try 2 rule out causes.external applications doesnt help 2 have effective relief. As u have lot 10kgs u say go for investigations to know underlying causes. Once the cause is known take medicines accordingly for effective cure.

take atleast 3-4lit of water, citrus fruit juices with honey, seasonal fruits.donot change frequently external applications either in the form of powers r creams r soaps on face.

first of all i would suggest self medication should be stopped at once which can cause complications its advisabel to consult a good homoeopath by case taking your acne can be treated i have seen very good results with homoeopathy for grade 4 to 5 type of acne too you can consult for the same

Stop these medicines. Take the following medicines:--
Sulphur 1M
3 powders - 3 months. One each month. Take at night before going to bed. Keep powder on tongue and swallow.
Kali brom 30.
4 pills x 3 times daily x 3 months. Chew pills. Take medicines as advised.

Acne is an inflammatory skin disorder of the skin’s sebaceous glands and hair follicles that affects about 80% of people between the ages of 12 and 24. During puberty high levels of hormones are produced in both girls and boys. This leads to the production of large quantities of sebum. Sebum is an irritant that can clog the pores and form a pimple which may become infected and form a pustule. Hormones don’t go away after adolescence. Many women still get premenstrual acne from of the release of progesterone after ovulation.
Causes of Acne
The exact cause of acne is unknown, several related factors are:
1) Hormonal activity supposed to be responsible, such as menstrual cycles and puberty.
2) Increase in hormones called androgens (male sex hormones), which causes sebaceous glands to enlarge and make more sebum.
3) Hormonal changes related to pregnancy can also cause acne.
4) Another factor is heredity or genetics.
5) Accumulation of dead skin cell.
6) Bacteria in the pores, to which body becomes allergic.
7) Skin irritation or scratching of any sort will active the inflammation.
8) Starting or stopping birth control pill
9)Some types of medicine.
10) Greasy makeup.
