Is it safe to go for chemical peels while on accutane? If yes, what type of chemical peels are usually recommended? My doc has prescribed so, but when I checked online they usually avoid the combination. Hence, confused.

Hi
It is safe to have mild chemical peels on Accutane/isotretinoin. Initially it was thought that these medicines delay healing of the skin however recent studies show that is indeed safe to use the same. Read more on this study from http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/pmc3884885/
