Acne Breakout on Dry Skin
Hi Doctor, I have dry skin (never been oily), my food intake is usually and preferably home prepared meals (although outside food still happens for like 2-3 times a week). I've always had a clear skin wherein a pimple or two might rarely occur but they were usually because of sweat and dirt. Coming to genetics, my parents both have a pretty clear skin and they never faced any issue regarding pimples or acne. For the past year, I've been facing a regular breakouts of multiple pimples all over my face. I had been using normal Himalaya Face Wash all my life but since January '20, I have been using Cipla Saslic DS Foaming Facewash, followed by Peroclin gel (as suggested by my cousin who's a physician practicing in US). This somewhat helped me see some improvement in the initial weeks but it's back to square one and the pimples are in immense amount. Please suggest me some professional measures to get rid of them completely. My concern also consists of many after-marks residues of acne.

Acne occurs due to hormonal changes. If you eat oily and spicy food then it aggregates. If you smoke and If you are having stress the acne aggravates. The face wash that you are using can cause dryness. Once acne subsided out of 10 acne 4 to 6 acne would leave either a black spot or depressed scar. Better to get treatment done to reduce the severity of scars.

Treatment depends on the grade...Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please  send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
