It's commonly called hormonal acne.
Causing factors are stress , dehydration
Eat clean and drink plenty of water
Use mild face wash and don't use an active agent like benzoyl peroxide it will reduce , reappear most.
Healing will take time .Be consistent.
Upper lip and chin acne in a 31-year-old is a classic hormonal acne pattern, even with regular cycles. Hormonal fluctuations (often pre-menstrual), stress, high-glycemic diet, and certain cosmetics or toothpaste (causing perioral dermatitis) are common triggers at this age. Start with a gentle salicylic acid face wash, non-comedogenic moisturiser, and avoid touching the face. Niacinamide 5% serum helps reduce sebum and inflammation.
Next Steps
See a Dermatologist if it persists â they may prescribe topical retinoids or oral hormonal therapy if needed. Also check for PCOS with testosterone/DHEAS levels. Please consult me directly on Practo.
Please do not worry. Effective treatment options are available; however, management depends on the severity and extent of the condition. A detailed medical history is essential for appropriate evaluation and treatment planning.
Kindly schedule an online consultation with a dermatologist for a comprehensive assessment, prescription, and further guidance.”

Probably we need to look for your skin care regime, hormonal assays and check your scalp. These are few of the reasons that can trigger acne. Schedule an appointment with us for further evaluation.
