Acidity and pipalyasava
I am taking pippalyasava since 1month for my acidity . I found its description on internet "it can be safely taken for up to 3 or 4 months . Actually since I am hyper acidic , I want to use it for 1 year or 2. Will I face any health issue if I continue more than 3 months ?

Don't go for internet articles for taking any self medication. It is dangerous to take Pippalyasava continuously without medical consultation. The result may become reversed very soon or you may develop addiction to alcohol. Take any medicine only after consulting a doctor.

Long term asava and arishta preparations not good for any way,as its fermented products chance of increasing acidity is high .Instead we can choose kashayas like guluchyadi, kalasakadi ,ghritha like dadimadi or thikthakam, madhookachoornam with milk ,sankha bhasma etc...take lot of butter milk. Its better to consult dr again for d choice of medicine.

Consult a qualified Ayurvedic doctor before taking any Ayurvedic medicine and take only for the number of days he prescribes it for. Review with the same doctor again to continue your treatment further.
