Acid reflax and heartburn
My father is around 67 yers. He suffers acid reflax and gas problems for the last 4 days. Any time he eat he suffers acidity at its max. He takes sompaz d and antacid Panmps. Is he need endoscopy?

Its been just 4 days or is it since very long time ?
If its just few days check his diet , avoid oily spicy foods, avoid sleeping within 2 hrs of eating , give him Tablet Vonatime 20mg
Get a basic X-ray , ecg and ultrasound of abdomen done
If he continues to suffer beyond 7days see a doctor (gastroenterologist)nearby
