I have been on medication from the past 4 months. the medicines given by my doctor are tablets perfectil, zempred(4 mg),follihair and halox lotion. I have 3-4 bald patches in my hair. even though I am taking all medicines on time, I still notice lot of hair fall and extreme thinning of hair. I had really thick hair till a year ago. now I have really fat spaces in the hair partitions. can you please let me know what else can I do?

Care AI Shimmer
alopecia areata. this is an autoimmune condition due to the attack of lymphocytes against hair roots. It results in the formation of bald patches on the scalp. It can affect any hairy area of the body also like eyebrows and  beard. It has to be treated properly for long duration until the immunity comes down. Once the immunity is controlled, hair grows back over the patches. Please call me or contact me with photos or visit me at my clinic for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
