About tinnitus
My mother age 38 yrs , suffering from ear pain and have tinnitus , acording to my consultant it is due to enlarge adenoid but i want to now that after adenoidectomy tinnitus Stop or not.this is my report,ct scan and tyampanometry.

Tinnitus can be due to various causes, general  and local causes.Adenoids can cause tubal obstruction and  middle ear effusion which manifest as ear block ,tinnitus.

Good evening Basically with the history and details provided I assume she is having nasal block with difficulty in breathing and decreased hearing Ct scan shows adenoid enlargement nasal polyposis and deviated nasal septum Tympanometry shows flat curve
Next Steps
Probably needed a endoscopy of the nose and plan for nasal surgery with adenoidectomy thank you

Your ENT Surgeon is right. She needs an Adenoidectomy. The other issues can be managed medically. Please go ahead with the surgery and give my regards to your ENT Surgeon.
