Yes ..you can clean the mouth by using a soft clean cotton cloth .once the teeth have started to erupt you can use a finger brush to clean the teeth.cleaning should be done immediately after feeding is been completed.
Next Steps

Hello sir!
Greetings of the day. You have to clean the mouth of the baby. You can do it using a sterile gauze piece or a clean soft cloth. Tie the gauze or cloth around your index finger, wet it and then clean the gums after every feeding. You cannot use a brush due to the absence of teeth. Once the teeth start coming (around 6 1/2 months of age), you can use small brush to clean the teeth.
Hello sir! Yes you have to clean the mouth of the baby... U can do it using a sterile gauze piece or a clean soft cloth. Just tie around your index finger, wet the guaze piece or cloth and then clean the gum pads(place where your teeth will come). As there are no teeth u cannot use brush.
Once the teeth start coming, you can use small brush or finger brush(brushing should be done by the parent)
