About mmr vaccination

I would be getting married this year so before marriage i heard that girls need to have mmr (measle, mumps, rubella) vaccination. So exactly when should i have this vaccination done and is its effect for lifetime or for limited period of time?

It's for rubella vaccine only... At least one year prior you get pregnant.. Or if you take it after marriage make sure you should not be pregnant.. Consultation with expert

Just do your Rubella IgG. If it's positive, you're immunised. No need to take the vaccine. Dr Sachin Dalal Madhu Hospital Bhandup West Mumbai
