Hi, well any drug that is taken for more than a required period of time is going to be harmful. Your doctor asked you to come back for a follow up but I wonder if you have a legitimate reason for not going back. Is there some other problem? Are you having second thoughts? Why do you wish to continue with medications which you may not require at all? The way I see it, you are only making it more difficult for professionals to help you out when your motive of visiting the psychiatrist was to get a cure to your problem. Are you not interested in the cure anymore? Please go and visit a psychiatrist as it will help determine your line of treatment and unnecessary complications can be avoided. It is better that a professional take the decision of your medications than yourself who isn't qualified to do so.
