About Cap to my rooth canal
I am 28 years old male. Few years back I went root canal to my tooth but due to my hictic schedule I didn't make a cap to my tooth. In recently, the tooth is cracked i.e some portion of my tooth is broken while some portion remains same. So, what's the solution for this. Is, wearing cap to my tooth is allowable or removing the tooth & further going to tooth implant. Please give your best suggestion Thank and regards.

The course of treatment will depend on the extent of damage or cracked portion. If it is minimal, a cap would suffice. If there is more damage to the tooth a procedure called post and core in which a supporting structure is inserted into the root canals followed by a crown. However, if the damage is extensive, extraction may be the choice of treatment.

Attach some clear photographs of the effected tooth. If tooth structure is not that much cracked then caping is still possible and it's prognosis is good. But if it is fractured then need to extract it. Still have questions about it then you can consult me online or offline for better guidance and treatment options.

Hello... That depends on the size of the tooth structure left, since you haven’t attached any pictures so cannot comment on the solution. If the tooth structure would be sufficient and the RCT would be fine crown can be given easily. If not then you’ll have to consider some other options.
