Like avoiding delayed pregnancy, mandatory breast feeding, avoiding contraceptive pills use, maintaining an active life style can reduce risk to a certain extent.

Regular PAP smear starting from age of 21
Self breast examination at home from.age of 35-40 for any palpable lumps and breast screening with help of mammogram starting from 40 years
Will help you in diagnosing the disease at a very early stage and increase the chances of survival
If any relatives in family has a history of cancer including men it's advisable to consult your oncologist to understand the need for starting screening at an early stage and also if ther is any need for genetic testing
