Hi, my daughter who is 9 month old (born sep 2015) seems to be losing all her hair.. can iron or calcium deficiency cause this ?
And if she is deficient, what would be signs to look out for ? We do not do any tonsuring. Any oil that can help her ? Thanku

Is there any whitish & redish patches ? U hav not mentioned. It could be seborrhea capitis or fungal infection . Avoid oil application. Contact a pediatrician.

The child could be having allergic dermatitis with seborrheic dermatitis which is the reason for the hair fall please consult a pediatric dermatologist for correct evaluation of the problem. It looks like malnutrition could also be the cause
