8.5 Months baby night consuming food
My 8.5 months old son is not consuming any kind of food. I mean we tried everything like homemade (both liquids & solids), fruits, tiffins(mashed idly etc.., ) and readymade foods also. But he doesn't swallow anything. Currently we are feeding him forcefully. He likes only to have his mother feed. Except that, he doesn't like any other foods. Now even his mother feed is very much reduced. So how shall we train him?

This is a temporary phase of eating less commonly seen in infants. He will start eating in a few days. Is he passing potty daily? Search baby food recipes on Google. Websites like Tarla dalal give many recipes. Don't force feed. That will prolong this phase

Feeding for the baby should be a fun event not a stressful one. So have patience. Keep offering the weaning food . Allow baby to play with the food and explore the food by his hands, the baby will eventually start loving it 😊 Make sure when parents are having their meals the baby is watching them and not the TV. We learn from watching and observing our parents, this is how mother nature has tuned us to be.
