3rd metatarsal fracture
Hi, I am Sridevi 27yrs old, I met with an accident in July 1st week. Doctor diagnosed
1.undisplaced fracture with extensive bone marrow oedema involving base of 3rd metatarsal with surrounding soft tissue oedema
2. Thin rim fluid noted in ankle joint
3 subcutaneous oedema noted involving dorsum of foot
4. Bone contusion involving anterior aspect of calcaneum
It's been 4weeks. Now my pain reduced and taking below medicine
1. Bonefix 2. Ocerin forte
My question is I am using only crepe bandage nd in rest. Is rest ok ? Or need any surgery or puttur kattu now ? Becoz after one week I need to be back to office. I am much worried about this.

You'll b fine, it was a minor fracture, continue using crepe bandage and sports shoes.give rest to foot when possible.
It'll take 3 months to get normal.b patient.You can join your office.
