29 weeks pregnant gestationsal diabetes
I had to take IV fluids for my low AFI. Doctor asked to check my blood sugar before taking it. I checked my blood sugar last week it is 83 mg/dl (fasting) and 156 mg/dl (after food, breakfast) doctor said i have elevation in my blood sugar level. I had a doubt and again I reconfirmed on the same day by checking my blood sugar level post lunch which is 103.4 mg/dl. After showing this to my gynae she agreed to put IV fluids for my low AFI and I took it. But my question is I am not taking any medicine for sugar. It's been 10 days I was told I have sugar. I am planning to take again my blood sugar test in 4 days as per gynae's prescription. Will it affect my baby if I don't take any sugar Medicine?
