Which foods are good for diabetes.. Today he tested diabetes od 259.. He had tested covid positive in past 14 days.. We need a proper diet chat and guidence.. Which foods are safe to consume.. Please suggest

For you to get a proper answer for this question it is better that you consult a dietitian. Doctors can give you a open answer - less carbohydrates more fibre balanced proteins. But these would be vague answers. Speciality of dietetics takes into consideration the specific diet that the patient is already  used to and based upon their patient is asked to eat or the limit specific foods. Do also mention whether the patient was already a diabetic before covid or he became a diabetic patient after coming down with covid. This and other specific questions would need to be asked to you to give a correct diet.

Please follow the following Diabetic diet: Morning 8 am Breakfast 2 Roti/1 Cup Daliya/Poha 10.30 am snack 1 Apple+10 walnuts 1 pm Lunch 1 cup Brown rice with dal, all vegetables except potato 5 pm Snack Ragi malt 1 glass 8 pm Dinner 2 Methi Roti 10 pm Snack Glass 250 ml milk + Apple/Guava/Papaya
