2 mm renal calculs
Hi I have 2 mm renal calculs. what is the exact meaning of this? If it is a kedney stone then is it require surgery to remove? Can it be treated using medicine ?  What are the thing should be taken care  ?Please suggest

Hi there I understand your concern and anxiety...If stones less than 7mm generally pass through spontaneously without surgical intervention...I would suggest you to take plenty of fluids orally and over the counter analgesics for pain relief and antibiotics like levofloxacin for 5 days...if no improvements consult nearest urologist they will help you further.
