1.5 year old crying for no reason

Hi Doctor My 1.5 year old daughter has always been a happy baby but from the past 1 or 2 weeks she has started crying for no reason. She wants me to carry her for longer time. Cries when I change her diaper or if I take away something that she was holding or if I go to the next room. When held, she is perfectly fine. Regards Sandhya

Looks like attention seeking. Be strict with her regarding too much carrying. If she can walk you should not carry her. Gradually she will come round, otherwise she will become obstinate
